Description:
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience in sales operations or equivalent
As Business Operations Lead for Europe North, you will support Sales managers as well as Sales Strategy & Ops leaders on running sales processes aligned to day-to-day execution of the business as well as driving implementation of new tools and processes to continuously drive productivity improvement in our sales teams.
You will be the central SME for operational requests raised by Europe North sales teams, owning resolution or collaborating with internal end-users and cross-functional international teams to solve problems and deliver successfully against high standards. You should be passionate about working with data and developing and owning process improvements to standardize, automate and optimize central processes in a scalable approach. You will be collaborating with Sales Operations teams and Sales leadership to define, land and execute against our strategic priorities for the AWS Europe North business. Your analytic skills, strong business judgement and focus on our core operational inputs will make you a critical partner to Sales and Sales Strategy & Ops leaders as you help them execute, identify gaps and remove barriers to execution.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop relationships and work with sales, partner, sales operations, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive strategic programs across both areas.
- Lead the local planning process and run the operational cadence of activities, such as Quarterly and Monthly business reviews, 2x2s, Segmentation, Territory/Account Planning, Operational Planning 1-2 and Offsite strategy workshops.
- Shape the strategy to align each plan with the core mission, providing executive sponsorship to program-manage the end to end delivery of the initiatives, in coordination with Partner, Marketing, Finance, SAs and Sales teams. This includes the creation of metrics, processes and mechanisms.
- Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of sales systems and processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and its revenue attainment and market segment development objectives.
- Provide insights via external market segment research and deep dive including the in country macro-economic issues and opportunities. Evaluate and research various data sets to provide deep insights and recommendations; prepare ad hoc analysis as needed. Provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify, develop and propose new metrics.
- Lead compensation, quota planning, headcount, new market segments planning and executing related initiatives.
- Manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, owning the quantitative analysis of the performance of our sales team, to improve Sales Excellence and productivity.
