Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Shift Manager or Supervisor, Gordon Ramsay Burger, this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant with the strictest regard to rules, regulations and outlet operational guideline s while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. This position may be performed in a restaurant, buffet operation, on a casino floor or other areas. Ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Clears tables or counters a s soon as they are vacated
  • Runs food from kitchen to appropriate tables
  • Removes used dishes/glasses/cutlery/linen/paper products; disposes of them according to the outlet operational guidelines
  • Cleans tables and counters according to outlet operational guidelines
  • Assist in the overall maintenance of restaurant including floors, walls, windows, etc.
  • Assists with restocking as required and maintains a clean and tidy stock area
  • Minimizes breakage by properly filling bus pans
  • Collects recyclables for removal
  • Provides guests with additional items as requested
  • Performs opening and closing duties as required
  • Runs food to guests as requested
  • Cleans spills as they occur
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directed

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Minimum 6 months work experience
  • Serving it Right Certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
