The SDA role not only provides a platform for ownership from the get-go, but also serves as a steppingstone to advance your career with various roles (i.e. Account Management, Category Management, OMNI, Market Strategy & Commercial Capabilities). Dedicated to the philosophy of promotion from within, the SDA role provides a foundation to explore future leadership opportunities, encouraging growth within Sales, and you can also explore cross-functional opportunities.
We employ an outstanding team of “intrapreneurs” who are valued and empowered to indulge in experimentation and innovative thinking to succeed. As an SDA, 50% of your week will be dedicated to managing a territory with medium to large format stores. Embracing an entrepreneurial spirit, this part of the role allows you to build and maintain relationships with key contacts, strategically sell using customer & category insights and flawlessly execute promotions to help grow the General Mills business. The other 50% of your time is based out of the head office where SDAs gain experience and expertise in selling & negotiating, analyzing customer data, leading Retail Execution, and projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams to impact in-store conditions.

WHO IS QUALIFIED TO APPLY?

Degrees Preferred: HBA, BBA, BCOMM, MBA, BA with focus on business. Bilingualism (French) is an asset.
