We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven CEO to lead a growing shipping, logistics, and freight forwarding company based in Finland. This is a unique opportunity to take full responsibility for the company’s operations, including financial performance, personnel management, and business strategy.

About the role

• Lead and manage the entire Finnish operation with full P&L responsibility.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth, operational efficiency, and market expansion.
• Oversee all departments, ensuring strong leadership, motivation, and development of staff.
• Cultivate and maintain key client relationships, as well as partnerships with suppliers and other industry stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while maintaining high standards of sustainability and operational excellence.
• Analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and steer the company towards profitability and competitive advantage.

About you

• Proven leadership experience in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry, ideally at a senior management or executive level.
• Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record of driving business growth and enhancing profitability.
• Hands-on leadership style, with a focus on team building and delivering results.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Fluency in Finnish and English is required.
