Description:
AS THE CHANGE AND BENEFITS MANAGER YOU WILL:
- Lead the establishment and implementation of a sophisticated change and benefits forward plan agenda across CAT.
- Provide strategic and tactical change and benefits management advice and expertise to CAT and Integrated Criminal Justice (ICJ) projects and programs, applying a hybrid ‘best practice’ and ‘fit-for-purpose’ consultancy approach scaled to organisational and user capability as appropriate.
- Lead and facilitate the assessment, coordination and implementation of business change impacts and readiness assessments resulting from projects, managed activities and change idea briefs to ensure effective change implementation into operations.
- Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose benefits framework for CAT, including an effective approach for the identification, measurement, monitoring and reporting of strategic benefits, ensuring alignment with DJAG-wide practices and best practice approaches.
- Proactively engage and maintain strong working relationships with leadership, key central business authorities and stakeholders across CAT to develop and recommend appropriate implementation strategies that enable the effective delivery of change and measurable benefits.
- Develop and implement a strategic change heatmap that enables the effective identification, monitoring and reporting of portfolio change and areas of greatest implementation risk across CAT, including providing recommendations for senior leadership and operational leadership consideration.
- Develop, drive and implement a bespoke P3 Capability Strategy, including the delivery, coordination and facilitation of change and benefits workshops and other capability uplift sessions on various portfolio, program and project (P3) topics.
- Maintain the Project Change and Implementation Framework and all related materials, ensuring materials are continuously reviewed and improved, and contribute to CAT’s change management approaches and strategies.
- Establish review mechanisms to effectively monitor and report on the success of outcomes and benefits realised in line with strategic objectives resulting from the effective delivery of change initiatives across CAT.
- Other duties as directed by the Director, Business Transformation Unit.
