    While a high level of product expertise is not required, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Enerpac’s core product offering, best-selling products, customer verticals, and primary applications within six to nine months of employment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business or liberal arts). Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • 3 or more years of direct or indirect experience in industrial product sales through distribution channels.

Responsibilities:

SUMMARY – BASIC FUNCTION OF THE ROLE

The channel account specialist will be the primary Enerpac partner to our large North American regional distribution partners. This includes being the primary point of contact for annual contracts, price list notices, new product introductions, and promotions. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Sales, National Accounts and OEM, and could require approximately 10% travel.
Shift: Monday – Friday; hybrid 3 days in office schedule in Menomonee Falls/Milwaukee, WI

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary contact for rental partners who purchase Enerpac equipment directly for their own rental fleet and approximately ten multi-regional OEM and distribution accounts in the US and CA. This includes ensuring all official Enerpac pricing, policies, promotions, and new products are communicated properly and being able to report on the performance of assigned accounts.
  • Conduct occasional travel to partner locations for sales meetings or quarterly business reviews to review sales results, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate partner concerns to Enerpac leadership..
  • Be an influential voice in our annual review of channel discount strategy, channel promotions, growth programs, and overall rental and distribution strategy.
  • Champion increased engagement between Enerpac field sales and assigned distribution partners leading to increased joint sales calls, Salesforce opportunity growth, and effective use of market develop funds (MDF), to include partner events and field team requests for marketing funds with local channel partners.
  • Serve as the general point of contact for assigned partners, guiding inquiries to the appropriate resource for pricing, availability, promotional materials, and product support in cooperation with the sales operation and field sales teams.
