As a Chef Manager at Irving Oil with Sodexo, your role is pivotal in planning, organising, coordinating, controlling, motivating, and training the catering team to achieve business objectives. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Ensure financial aspects of catering/facilities operations are managed within agreed guidelines.
• Maintain premises cleanliness and safe working practices.
• Control expenditure, including payment of wages, overtime, and other employee-related costs.
• Represent Sodexo at client meetings as required.
• Maintain standards in accordance with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
• Recruit, manage, train, motivate, and appraise staff to promote good employee relations.
• Maintain training records and conduct bi-monthly team briefing meetings.
• Manage all Health and Safety issues effectively.
• Develop menu cycles in conjunction with the Catering Team.
• Ensure Allergen folders are up to date for Catering services site-wide.
