Description:

The Four Ferns Nursing Home are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to lead, manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day operation, maintaining high standards of food and service at The Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock, Co. Dublin (part of the Virtue Group).
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Chef to run a 5-star food service in one of Ireland’s leading luxury nursing homes.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Food Production / Culinary Arts and / or operational experience in: Working in a Nursing Home or Healthcare Environment is preferable

Responsibilities:

  • Menu design, creative food preparation and running fine dining events
  • Ensure that the highest standard of food quality, Nutrition, presentation and service are achieved and maintained at all times
  • Ensure regular monitoring of menus for variety and cost and to provide innovative ideas for menu planning
  • Tailoring recipes and menus for modified Diets
  • The performance of any reasonable task which assists with the efficient operation of the unit
  • Purchasing and ordering stock and food
