JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Chief Engineer, you have the authority to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the property. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of the infrastructure, while also managing a team of maintenance personnel. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction. EXPERIENCE/PASSIONS/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance management, preferably in a hospitality or hotel environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
