Job Overview
ING Hubs Poland is looking for Chief Financial Officer who will lead a collection of teams which have the purpose to deliver financial, regulatory and management reporting and control. This includes Controlling, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Tax and Procurement.
You will partner with senior leaders in the development and rollout of the organization’s vision and strategy to improve and safeguard financial results, creating and executing long-term strategies leveraging data and analytics as a key business enabler and competitive differentiator across the business.
You will develop, refine, and implement insights, recommendations, processes, controls, reports, and tools to ensure that finance delivers to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the management accounting activities, ensuring high-quality and efficient processes. This includes coordination of budgeting, financial planning and financial analyses
  • Oversee all accounting activities, including the accurate and timely reporting of financial results, both in local accounting standards as well as Group standards.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial results, identifying risks and proposing corrective actions.
  • Oversee the Procurement activities, ensuring high-quality and efficient processes.
  • Be a driving force behind cost optimization and profitability management.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal and business departments to support business objectives.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Monitor and manage financial controls, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
  • Coordination of internal and external audits.

Employer requirements

  • University degree required - finance, accounting or related.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present financial data.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a financial director or other leadership position in the area of finance.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of cost accounting within a shared services center.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/IFRS)
  • Knowledge of tax law and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial tools and systems.
  • Proactivity, results orientation and effective team management.
