As part of our recent expansion in the workers compensation market, we have new opportunities for enthusiastic and dynamic Claims Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to interstate and local claims teams across a range of administrative activities, learn new skills and have the opportunity to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Based in our sophisticated Brisbane offices, this role is pivotal to contributing to Gallagher Bassett’s commitment to injured workers and insured clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare written correspondence such as letters and emails for injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, legal representatives and medicolegal specialists;
  • Maintain data within GB and regulators’ systems;
  • Undertake registration of new claims and data reviews;
  • Issue notices and reminders of appointments to injured workers;
  • Manage incoming correspondence from a range of channels and in various formats;
  • Participate in key business projects and initiatives, such as learning and development.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role and/or demonstrated experience in undertaking administrative duties in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation and with a varied set of stakeholders;
  • Enthusiastic, with a strong sense of team and collaboration;
  • A resilient attitude.
