Class 1 Driver Nights

Pay Rate: £ 33,400
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off Nights (Start Times between 15.00 - 18.00pm)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• We are looking for a Team Player with a Can-Do attitude to join our small team

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Working a combination of Class 1 delivering and shunting
• Delivering goods to RDC sites to be tipped and backload stock through DHL network
• Shunting carried out across 3 sites on the industrial estate, dropping/swapping and moving trailers on and off bays
• Shunting of a bespoke customer trailer, hooked up to tug unit - full training to be given
• Looking at a team player, who will share rotation of shunting duties along side their driving role.
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
