Cleaning Operative

at  Compass Group

The role of our cleaning operative is to ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout the factory.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Flexibility around start and finish times, main hours of cleaning between 2pm – 10pm
• Sunday to Thursday with some Friday and Saturday work

• Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
• Deep cleaning of food production areas
• Undertaking floor care duties, including sweeping, water squeegeeing & use of floor washer
• Cleaning of food production lines and equipment to meet required standards. This requires the operator to dissemble / reassemble industrial equipment. Moving of equipment also where required for this task.
• Waste removal from factory and emptying of bins
• Emptying and restocking of coat lockers
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly
• Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene protocols
• Ensuring that cleaning and personal protective equipment are functioning correctly at all times
• Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager
• Washing walls, doors, ledges, windows etc. as needed
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining all handwash facilities in the factory
• Performing any other reasonable duties that may be allocated by management
