Description:
CUE’s Faculty of Arts and Department of Psychology invite applications for a part-time (.5FTE) Clinical Psychologist in CUE’s Psychology Training Clinic, which is located within the Allan Wachowich Centre for Science, Research, and Innovation. The Clinic is an integral part of CUE’s Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Program in Clinical Psychology and involves in-house practicum training, teaching, research, clinical supervision, and community outreach and engagement.

REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD, PsyD, or master’s degree in clinical psychology or counselling psychology, preferably from a CPA- or APA-accredited program.
- Registration (or registration eligibility) as a Psychologist in Alberta.
- Experience supervising student/trainee clinical work.
- Experience teaching graduate students is desirable, as is research experience.
- Knowledge of CPA-accredited doctoral programs in clinical psychology, with a commitment and ability to advance the quality and content of student training and practicum experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collegially as a team member with a variety of teams and stakeholder groups.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check results

Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to Psy.D. trainees on their in-house clinical practicum, including responding to trainee questions which may arise during regular operation of the clinic
- Provide clinic management and direct the clinic administrative assistant in tasks such as scheduling, outreach, and maintenance of the clinical space
- Contribute to the writing and editing of psychological assessment reports
- Conduct intake assessments of potential clients and appropriately assign clients to clinical trainees
- Provide guidance and mentorship to clinic graduate assistants as they oversee trainee activities
