Job Description

The Cluster Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, guest engagement, and revenue growth for the hotel. This role involves overseeing all digital marketing initiatives, including online advertising, social media, email marketing, SEO and website management.

  • Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy that aligns with the hotel’s overall business goals.
  • Identify target audiences and create digital campaigns that resonate with them.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the digital marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Set team goals and performance metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels (SEO, email, social media, etc.).
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing investments.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, operations) to enhance the guest experience and drive bookings.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and report on website traffic, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Build and maintain relationships with digital marketing vendors, agencies, and partners.
  • Explore new technologies and platforms to enhance digital marketing efforts.
  • Oversee content creation and management for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Ensure content aligns with the hotel’s brand voice and engages the target audience.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and affiliates to expand the hotel’s reach and engage new audiences.
  • Develop strategies for managing online reputation and responding to negative reviews or crises on social media and review platforms.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the marketing team to keep skills current and foster professional growth.
  • Create and implement digital marketing strategies for special events, promotions, or seasonal campaigns (e.g., holidays, conferences).
  • Optimize marketing strategies for mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for mobile users.
  • Continuously improve the hotel’s website for user experience, performance, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting digital marketing performance and ROI.
  • Work closely with the IT department to ensure the website and digital platforms are secure, functional, and up-to-date.
  • Incorporate sustainable practices into digital marketing campaigns to align with eco-conscious guest preferences.
  • Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to stay informed about trends and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on the hospitality or travel industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
