Description:
The Commercial Manager plays a crucial role in attaining sales objectives, drive growth and managing business relationships. The job holder will be responsible for Near East UAE OPU based in Dubai, UAE and will report to the Head of GTM and Comm Ops.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical/business field
- Good command in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus
- Minimum 5 years in similar commercial roles within a multi-national Pharmaceutical company; Experience in sales, marketing and key account management is a plus
- Customer and project management experience
- Excellent in analysis and detailed oriented
- Strong business acumen with experience in UAE, and/or Levant is an asset
- Team member with excellent communication skills and can work cross-functionally with positive influenceCapable to lead without authority
Responsibilities:
- Attain defined annual Ex-Factory & in-market sales objectives in line with market needs and company principles. Supports and improves business relationships and promoting Company’s image and reputation with the wholesalers, distributes and sub-distributors. Collaborates & manages wholesalers, distributors and sub-distributors in his/her responsibility to establish a safety stock level and increase in market sales performance according to the business needs. Management of sales campaigns, sell-in agreements, sell-out agreements, free goods, credit limits, cash collection, stock levels
- Forecasting and executing five years plan for sales, commission, sampling, free of charge goods and expiries to be included in LTF exercise
- Plays a role in In-market target setting & Net sales LTF forecast setting up guidance document for the major therapy areas and supports with management presentation and effectively phases the sales and budgets and coordinates the data uploads into the necessary internal systems within the time frame aligned with the OPU / ROPU coordinate
- Tender management in terms of aligning on all tender booklets and pricing offers and fulfilling any tender related requests that should be communicated with the related distributors in time,
- Collaborates with all the third parties responsible for the active promotion of Boehringer outsourced products in terms of goods availability and distribution if applicableResponsible for the analysis of monthly In-Market / Net Sales / Export Sales and provide insights and prepare management reports
