KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support (and lead) contract formation activities - prepare & manage contract management/supplier management activities/agendas.
  • Support (and manage) commercial elements of contract e.g. budget for projects, service credits, LDs or similar
  • Lead supply market research in support of broader business needs and objectives.
  • Work with BA to meet and manage UK and Optima IT Procurement needs (except Tier1 suppliers).
  • Support Tech Procurement Forum – collaborate with BUs and support/guide them in presenting their requirements to the forum.
  • Develop, support and manage IT supplier metrics framework to evaluate current and potential suppliers – performance risk and compliance.
  • Build effective BU relationship to ensure early procurement involvement for IT related procurements.
  • Manage RACI/Issue management and escalations in support of Senior Manager.
  • Work closely with Procurement BA to develop and deliver IT supplier performance reports/analytics and ExCo update packs.
  • Collaborate with AP to ensure invoice accuracy and timeliness of payments are in line with contractual obligations.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements with suppliers via register and ensure service credits are applied (if any).
  • Actively support monitoring of consumption rates of licenced products and produce reports with BA to ensure volumes are in line with agreements (and work with IT and suppliers to vary agreements based on consumption changes if and as required).
  • Work with CoE to enhance procurement systems and compliance across broader business.
  • Lead IT Managed Services relationship (commercial side).

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diversified experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (preferably in the Tech and Finance industry)
  • Strong Supplier Management Skills
  • Experience in managing IT contract negotiations across diverse categories technology products/services, IT professional services, etc

Responsibilities:

This role will support key commercial activities led by the Senior Commerical Procurement Manager, IT, but focus will be on Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers – i.e. 1-off procurements, non-critical IT procurements (e.g. O365) and similar (per segmentation outcome).
