In the role as Compliance Specialist, you will assist our Director of Group Business Ethics & Compliance preparing responses to internal and external information requests relevant to overall compliance function.
The team you will be part of is located at our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark and you will join our team of 4 enthusiastic, collaborative and engaged colleagues.
We are all working with GN’s business ethics compliance at a strategic level – translating rules and regulations into internal requirements and policies.
As our new Compliance Specialist, you will report to Director, Group Business Ethics Compliance.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will have an important role in ensuring our organization’s adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in tracking and following up on compliance audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented within the agreed deadlines. Over time, you will also support the performance of internal compliance reviews, which may involve occasional travel
  • Assist, maintain, and update existing compliance policies, ensuring they are current, relevant, and effectively communicated across the organization. You will also assist in coordinating compliance training programs to ensure employees are informed and compliant with all necessary regulations
  • Support the planning and execution of the Compliance Champions Network. This includes enhancing the agenda, defining the scope and responsibilities, and delivering outcomes from meetings
  • Contribute to the planning and global implementation of the third-party due diligence process including ongoing monitoring and continuous process improvement
  • Assist with various other compliance-related projects as needed. This may include whistleblower investigations, compliance risk assessments, managing policy documentation, and responding to external questionnaires

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have the following competencies:

  • You hold a master’s degree in business administration, Business Law, Finance, Communication, or similarly relevant field. Specialized degrees or certifications in Ethics, Corporate Governance, or Risk Management will be a benefit
  • You bring a few years of relevant experience to the role
  • You are structured with good analytical abilities and meticulous attention to details
  • You possess good communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Fluency in Danish (written and spoken) would be an additional advantage
  • You uphold high ethical standards and demonstrate high levels of integrity in your work
  • You excel in planning and organizing projects with a keen ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Your positive nature is consistent, and you perform well in a setting that is quick to change
  • You are open to occasionally travel as part of your role
  • You are a person who works well with others and is service-minded
