Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are looking for a stellar recent graduate to focus on our work related to reducing food waste and food insecurity. This is a hybrid researcher and analyst position. You will play a major role on projects related to the measurement of food waste across North America and the design of facilities for food banks and charitable meal distributors.

Working with partners, directors, and project managers, you will participate in:

  • Researching food waste hot spots throughout Canada and developing ways to transform waste into consumable food
  • Auditing operations and recommending improvements in process, layout and software;
  • Designing and building food banks and other manufacturing and distribution facilities;

RESPONSIBILITIES



    • Research food waste using primary and secondary sources

    • Analyze, document and calculate logistics and business operations data;
    • Model business processes to develop innovative recommendations for clients;
    • Communicate analyses to project teams and clients clearly and concisely;
    • Attend internal and client-facing meetings.
