Description:
Shockwave Medical, Inc. is a pioneer in the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Shockwave Medical aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Position Overview
As a Contract Analyst on the Commercial Operations team, you need to be highly analytical, creative when it comes data sets with a strong intellectual curiosity and be comfortable responding to and structuring ambiguous requests. You also need to have familiarity, and preferably expertise, with Salesforce. Role supports International contracts and must be physically located in Europe.
The role requires you to enjoy making sense of complex and disparate contracts, be operationally savvy and have a passion for finding elegant and efficient solutions to contract management issues. You must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced growing organization and work with sales leadership teams (domestic and international) to identify reporting that aids successful operational execution of Sales & Commercial Operations priorities while ensuring contract data integrity in Salesforce.
- Self-direct and prioritize incoming requests for contracting support
- Enter and maintain contract data in Salesforce ensuring that all data related to the contract are updated such as terms, pricing, and customer contract connections
- Manage new customer set up and maintain customer data updated across systems (Salesforce and Oracle)
- Develop standardized tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency of the contract lifecycle
- Manage data in Salesforce and other databases to ensure integrity
- Support key commercial operations initiatives related to system structure and data flow (to Salesforce) and process improvements
- Partner with different department stakeholders to build and streamline contract management processes
- Engage in frequent interaction with customer service, sales, finance, national accounts, legal and commercial operations teams to assist with questions, process improvements, and complex sales flows
- Support contract management including expiration monitoring, contract and amendment review and input to Salesforce and follow-up with contract process execution for domestic contracts
- Support sales team with quoting generation
- Insure all contracts and relevant information are entered into appropriate databases
- Contribute to various day-to-day activities and manage projects within the commercial operations and other departments as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business/technical field, or 5+ years of directly related work experience
- 2+ years experience in contract management and International contracting
- Experience in related field (life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech) is a plus
- Proactivity: Ability to identify areas of development and recommending improvements to line manager
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of ORACLE is a plus
- Knowledge of Sales Force is a plus
- Fluent (C1 level) in speaking and writing English and in at least one of the following languages: Spanish, German
