JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Communications Director to join our team. We need a strategic thinker with a proven track record in corporate communications, public relations, and media relations. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our corporate reputation, managing internal and external communications, and supporting our organization’s initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within the fashion or retail industry;
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role;
- Proven experience in managing media relations and crisis communications;
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong project management and organizational skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Proficiency in using communication and content management tools;
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the company’s brand image and market presence;
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align communication strategies with business objectives;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and public relations agencies;
- Manage media inquiries and proactively pitch stories to enhance positive coverage of the company’s initiatives, products, and events;
- Craft and disseminate clear, compelling, and consistent messaging across all communication channels, including press releases, executive speeches, and internal communications;
- Ensure that all corporate communications are aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values;
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate risks to the company’s reputation;
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content for corporate announcements, investor communications, and social media platforms;
- Manage the company’s editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of content;
- Overseeing the company’s corporate presence on social media platforms, including content strategy, engagement, and monitoring;
- Manage the company’s corporate relationships with local communities and broader public through community outreach programs and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives;
- Enhance internal communication strategies to improve employee engagement and alignment with corporate goals;
- Communicate changes within the company, such as restructuring, new policies, or strategic initiatives to employees.
