Robert Half is offering an opportunity for a Counsel-Commercial Legal to join our team in New York. The role is primarily focused on supporting our sales team and global monetization efforts. This position is a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.
Start Date: December 9th, 2024
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Hybrid (primarily remote); must be able to go in office when needed (in NY)
Hours: M-F, EST business hours
Pay: $90+/ hour

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial and advertising-related agreements.
• Collaborate with advertisers, ad agencies, partners, vendors, and suppliers to facilitate business operations.
• Offer strategic advice and support to our Sales, Revenue, Finance, and Customer Ops teams across US and international markets.
• Provide pragmatic and strategic advice to cross-functional leaders to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals and initiatives.
• Develop scalable solutions to allow the team the flexibility necessary to move quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain a keen understanding of digital advertising and data protection regulations and apply this knowledge in your work.
• Utilize excellent communication skills to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships with partners and suppliers.
• Demonstrate a strong capacity for negotiation to ensure the best outcomes for the company.
• Use your entrepreneurial spirit to innovate and drive improvements in our legal processes
• Demonstrated experience in Commercial Legal Counsel roles
• Proficiency in Sales and Finance
• Proven ability to review and negotiate Commercial Agreements
• Experience working with Vendors, Partners, and Suppliers
• Knowledge of Revenue Accounting and Data Protection principles
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
• Experience in Counseling and working with Counsels
• Knowledge of Digital Advertising and Monetization would be a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to provide scalable solutions
• Proficiency in AP Style
• Ability to adapt in a nimble work environment
• Familiarity with platforms like Pinterest would be beneficial
• Ability to join a diverse and dynamic team.
