Description:

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled CSU Process Specialist join our client’s team and play a crucial role in the successful commissioning and start-up of new facilities and processes, in Calgary, AB. In this role you will be responsible for executing day-to-day commissioning activities for assigned projects in a safe and efficient manner. This role supports the Process Coordinator in developing the CSU Execution Plan, schedule, and resource requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Experience in commissioning and start-up activities, with construction/turnaround experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum 3rd Class Power Engineering Certification (2nd Class Power Engineering preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, MS Projects, and SAP.
  • Strong ability to read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and other technical documents.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and strong understanding of commissioning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate safe isolation of project scope.
  • Support daily permitting for commissioning contractors.
  • Execute process-related commissioning activities and support the delivery of Operations deliverables.
  • Oversee and coordinate 3rd party commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with commissioning and start-up milestones.
  • Provide troubleshooting and parts sourcing support to prevent schedule delays.
  • Ensure alignment with the construction team during turnover walkdowns and project scope delivery.
