Job Description
We’re seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of a Customer Delivery Manager (CDM) to join our SDM & SC-OPM Skills team. In this role, you’ll have complete end-to-end accountability for all customer-related services, ensuring they’re delivered on time, with top-notch quality, and within budget.
Focus Area: Your primary focus will be on cloud contracts within the FCI (Federated Cloud Infrastructure), OSC (OpenStack Cloud), and Container (Platform as a Service) domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of operational planning and strategic conceptualization to ensure seamless service provision in terms of time, quality, and cost.
  • Collaborate closely with Delivery teams to devise efficiency improvement measures and enhance overall delivery performance.
  • Manage escalations effectively, maintaining a keen eye on quality monitoring at the delivery unit level.
  • Foster regular communication channels with delivery teams, suppliers, and customers, with a technical focus.
  • Lead the technical management and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams, spanning international boundaries.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including top management, to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Develop global cooperation strategies, both nationally and internationally, to optimize service delivery.
  • Contribute to Project “Olymp” and ensure smooth handover to production, adhering to established processes and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Business German and English.
  • Experience in operational planning and contract fulfillment within the cloud domain.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly FCI, OSC, and Container (PaaS).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both technical and professional.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex situations, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Willingness to adapt, learn, and explore new areas within the vast world of IT.
  • Proactive networking abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
