JOB DESCRIPTION

Pepkor Speciality has a NEW POSITION available within our Direct Marketing Team, for a Customer Engagement Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking, compiling and reporting customer research metrics derived from Salesforce to support marketing initiatives. Will compile data from Salesforce and organise data to develop comprehensive customer profiles and segmentations to create and deploy targeted campaigns.
Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated, positive, and passionate about performance, a resilient individual who can think laterally and who has strong analytical abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of statistics, data analysis or Marketing Customer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in campaign management and digital marketing
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud or any other Customer Data Platform
  • Knowledge in data analytic presentation and reporting
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems
  • Proficiency in the latest G Suite packages and Advanced Excel in Microsoft packages
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • A strong logical thinking and analytical ability with excellent numerical skills and the ability to be accurate and pay attention to detail.
  • Has a high energy level and is performance-driven and deadline-oriented.
  • Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Customer segmentation and profiling
  • Implement and manage marketing automation platforms to streamline campaign execution.
  • Marketing automation
  • Campaign creation and execution by preparing the technical workflow (i.e.campaign) on the relevant platform (e.g Marketing Cloud Engagement System)
  • Data analysis and automation by conducting relevant reasonability checks on data to ensure data integrity
  • Sales Force Systems technical skills and support
  • Navigating the platform’s user interface and utilising its various features and tools.
  • Ability to design and implement automated workflows and processes for campaign management, using SQL script
  • Skills in creating and customizing email templates, landing pages, and forms to align with branding and campaign goals.
  • Communication and reporting to relevant stakeholders
  • Interpret data, analyse results and provide ongoing reports
  • Track campaign performance and provide actionable insights based on the results
