Description:

SUMMARY This position exists to provide leadership, coordination, planning and project management related to data reporting and analysis for organizational performance improvement. The incumbent will serve as a resource person to all levels of leadership, providers and staff in reviewing, understanding, and analyzing quality, clinical and financial data for performance improvement initiatives. This role provides report generation, data validation, data analysis support, and serves as an expert user.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Data Collection and Automation:

  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand data requirements and objectives.
  • Gather data from internal and external sources.
  • Develop and maintain automated data collection process, ensuring a continuous flow of data.
  • Implement streamlined workflows to extract, clean, transform, and load data from various sources into structured datasets suitable for analysis.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, transformation, and statistical analysis.

Data Analysis:

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, analyzing key performance indicators and providing recommendations.

Data Visualization:

  • Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that effectively visualize complex data sets and present actionable insights.
  • Identify data quality issues and work towards ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist in the development of predictive models and data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization.
  • Present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline data workflows and improve data analysis processes.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of organizational system structure in the production of both standard and custom reports.
  • Provide accurate and timely data as requested for the maintenance of operations, implementation of new programs, or as part of the decision-making process.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in development and creation of organization-wide reports. Ensures that reporting tools used accomplish business needs and meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, finance, information technology, and CICOA program directors to identify opportunities, establish priorities, and develop action plans to address performance improvement.
  • Serve as a change agent and provides consultative services to support financial and organizational performance improvement initiatives.
  • Modify communication style and explanation of results to fit multiple audiences.
  • Coordinate with Information Technology (IT) for file maintenance and software specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a relevant field (e.g. Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, etc.) OR Bachelor’s degree in other field with at least two years relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred. Proficiency in Tableau for creating interactive visualizations and dashboards. Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis. Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, formulas, and pivot tables. Familiarity with data querying languages (SQL) and databases. Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience with data preprocessing, cleansing, and transformation is a plus.
Experience with Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop is a plus
