IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian think tank, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organisation manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative, which was created in 2010 to facilitate the development of information tools and products that enhance the capacity of aid actors to make evidence-based decisions in emergency, recovery and development contexts. Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the consolidation of 2024 MSNA shelter, energy and HLP data in view of a cross-crisis analysis
o Consolidation of MSNA shelter, energy and HLP data in a single database on the basis of the mapping of indicator that already exists.
o Preliminary analysis of each indicator across various types of crises.
- Contribute to the design of future shelter indicators on the basis of lessons learned through analysis of existing datasets.
o Review of 2023 and 2024 indicators and collected data.
o Provide inputs to the revision of the shelter indicators to be collected next year.
o Provide inputs to the severity calculation revision on the basis of the revised indicators.
- Support the development of research tools and guidelines on shelter, as required.
- Flag and discuss potential issues with the supervisor, as and when relevant.
- Provide other support to other workstreams within the Public Services, Markets and Infrastructure unit as required.
