The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- White Card
EXPERIENCE:
- 11 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role
- Experience working on large scale construction projects or other similar projects
- Problem solving abilities
- Sound knowledge of project operations
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Support the Construction Director in the leading of the Construction department. Lead team by working closely with the Construction Director. Coordinate the Area Construction Managers and track works as per project schedule and allocated budget, within the department. Generate project management plans, Coordination with project departments, calculate risks, maintain production schedules, setting standards and objectives for different departments and overseeing operations to ensure efficiency
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set standards & objectives for departments
- Optimize & oversee operations to ensure efficiency with cost allocation
- Ensure compliance with company’s policies & operational guidelines
- Evaluate performance using key metrics
- Assist upper management in decisions related to work
- Report to senior executives regarding progress and issues
- Maintains knowledge in federal, state, and local compliance issues
- Maintains working knowledge of applicable codes and standards for a project
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
- Develops and maintains business relationships with workers, manufacturers, dealers, project managers, equipment managers, and subcontractors
- Identify and resolve any IR/ER issues and escalate serious issues to the Construction Manager and IR Manager in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Develop teamwork culture so that the site teams cooperate well with each other and integrate effectively with the wider project teams;
- Manage direct reports to be competent to perform their roles effectively and hold them accountable to Project performance measures;
