Designer & Contractor Account Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Client Relationship Management

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects and contractors
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their unique needs and preferences

1. Product knowledge and expertise

• Stay informed about the latest trends, products, and innovations in the interior design industry
• Provide in-depth knowledge about our product offerings, assisting designers in choosing the most suitable solutions for their projects

1. Collaboration and coordination

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients and industry partners support in securing new business from interior design professionals
• Work closely with marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials for interior designers and contractors

1. Client training and support

• Conduct product training sessions for interior designers and contractors to enhance their understanding of our offerings
• Provide ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns promptly

1. Project collaboration

• Actively participate in design projects, collaborating with interior designers and contractors to showcase the application of our products
• Assist in coordinating product installations and ensure customer satisfaction

1. Market research

• Stay informed about the market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the interior design industry
• Provide regular reports on markets insights, client feedback, and areas for improvement

1. Sales Growth and targets

• Set and achieve sales targets for assigned interior design accounts
• Identify upselling and cross selling opportunities within existing accounts

1. Event participation

• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our products and services
• Organize and host exclusive events for interior designers to strengthen relationships

EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor degree in interior design, business, marketing or related field
2. Proven experience in account management, preferably within the interior design or related industry
3. Strong understanding of interior design principles, color theory, and architecture trends
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse design professionals
5. Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture
6. Results-driven with proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
7. Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft office suite, and other relevant tools
8. Pleasant personality and enjoying meeting people
