JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ecommerce and is a strategic thinker who can drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across various digital platforms to grow our online presence and sales.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably within an ecommerce setting.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS required.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Commerce / Magento is an asset.
  • Experience sourcing and managing a gig economy team.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, and increase conversions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities.
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, display advertising.
  • Lead email strategy including segmentation to nurture leads and engage customers.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing activities and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs), providing recommendations to improve.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the company’s ecommerce websites across multiple ecommerce platforms
  • Ensure the website is optimized for SEO and user experience (UX).
  • Work with the web development team to implement necessary updates and improvements.
  • Monitor website performance and traffic using tools like GA4 and make data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
  • Manage a shared services team composed of both full-time members and freelancers/contractors.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
    This position will be a hybrid position with the requirement to work from our office (Oakville, ON - Winston Churchill/Dundas) 3 times/week, and as required for special events.
