ABOUT YOU:
- You will have proven experience working with email, CRM marketing, databases, segmentation, and
email marketing platforms.
- This role requires a high degree of stakeholder management and the ability to build positive
relationships. As our digital marketing journey grows, we’re looking for someone who is excited to share
insights with the broader business.
- You must have strong organizational and project management skills with a high attention to detail.
- Experience using applications such as Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator is required.
- You will bring a creative flair but are also comfortable digging into the data, demonstrating strong
commercial acumen. You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to produce reports with valuable
insights.

Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist (Email & Campaigns) to join our
growing business. The role will be pivotal to creating a personalised and engaging customer experience
and growing AV’s subscriber audience. Working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will assist
in driving growth, acquisition and revenue for AV’s Direct to consumer channels and four pillar brands;
Mcguigan, Tempus Two, Nepenthe and Barossa Valley Wine Company.
We are looking for someone who is customer obsessed, with a solutions mindset that enjoys driving
continuous improvement. As a relatively new digital marketing function we are looking for someone with a
strong sense of agency, who wants to challenge the status quo and present new ideas. A successful
candidate in this role will have the opportunity to shape the future of CRM for AV’s pillar brands.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager your primary duties will include:
- Plan, build, test and schedule email and eCommerce campaigns.
- Create content for emails, including template versions, graphics, and copy for review with Digital
Marketing Manager.
- Execute campaigns and promotional offers across webstores including creating content,
personalised experiences, promotions, and coupons.
- Assist with development and optimisation of email journey workflows, designs and segmentation to
support the CRM strategy including the development of a loyalty programme.
- Track monthly email and campaign performance and including year-on-year and against targets,
including open, click through rates, traffic, and revenue generation.
- Assist in planning and executing strategies for acquiring new email subscribers.
- Liaise with the Brand teams on campaign marketing activity and promotional schedule in line with
the marketing activity calendar.
- Manage the Direct-to-Consumer campaign calendar.
- Research email creative for customer lifecycle marketing campaigns and competitor
benchmarking.
- Create a personalised experience in digital environment across AV’s four pillar brands.
- Execute brand website and product updates as required.
