While this is a sales role, we do sales a bit differently at Reload so this is a great opportunity for someone who has been an account manager or strategic lead that wants to get out of the day to day of client work and get the opportunity to work on a wide range of clients across varying industries, spends and challenges. While still connecting with clients and building relationships, you’ll also get to work closely with the entire specialist teams where you’ll work alongside them crafting unique strategic responses to key business challenges, continuing to grow your marketing knowledge & experience while leaning into strategy rather than execution.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Working as a member of Reload’s Growth team, your role will be primarily focused on inbound new business leads, working to understand their goals and objectives and collaborating with internal specialists to create holistic digital marketing responses that will drive results.

WHAT THIS MEANS YOU’LL BE DOING

Marketing Strategy

  • Able to identify business objectives or problems and present a solution on how we propose to address this strategically through Marketing.
  • Can set an overarching strategic direction that addresses the client’s needs and match tactics or initiatives that align with that.
  • Understand how marketing affects different business challenges and the particular intricacies of digital marketing (Organic, Performance, Lifecycle, and Brand).

Managing New Business

  • Run discovery calls & meetings to uncover the needs of the new potential client, pulling in specialists as needed.
  • Scheduling debriefs with the teams to align on the strategic response and how we’ll solve the business challenge for the new potential client.
  • Using data & market research to develop hypotheses supporting our strategic response and leading the direction with the team of specialists focusing on their primary service area.
  • Pulling together a customised response/proposal based on what the potential client would value & presenting this back either via video calls or in-person meetings.
  • Working alongside the team as we onboard the client post-sale before stepping back and allowing the Client Services & Specialists teams to take over the account and execute the proposed strategic plan.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Adapting your communication style, frequency, and even coordination with others to jump in based on what the potential client needs and what you understand that they value.
  • Able to build a personal connection & rapport with potential clients, being the go-to authority in presentations and throughout the sales process.
  • Feels confident in presenting complex strategies to key stakeholders and can own the room when pitching our approach at a c-suite level.
  • Is experienced in working with teams of experts who contribute to the overall proposed strategy for a potential client, ensuring everyone feels valued, roles, responsibilities, and timelines are clear, and we are pulling in the right people to help solve the challenge.
  • Able to bring in partners or agencies within our network to collaborate on a strategic response to a brief, ensuring everyone feels valued and has input aligned to what needs to be delivered.
