Description:

We are looking for a Director, Marketing Communications to play a pivotal role in advancing our mission and expanding our reach within the community.
The Director will lead marketing and public relations efforts to enhance the organization’s visibility, build strong community relationships, and ensure our healthcare services are accessible to all.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a business-related discipline is required. Master’s Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

Five years of marketing and public relations experience, with a minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role

Location: St. Claire HealthCare · Marketing and PR
Schedule: Full Time, Days, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM plus after hour commitment

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Maintains and enhances the organization’s brand awareness and identity, ensuring it reflects our commitment to quality healthcare in a rural Eastern Kentucky setting.
  • Fosters and maintains positive relationships with community leaders, organizations, and partners.
  • Directs monetary and in-kind gifts to community organizations, civic groups, churches, and schools.
  • Oversees the organization’s online presence, including the website and social media platforms, to engage with patients, donors, and the community.
  • Creates and oversees the development of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, press releases, and digital content.
  • Manages media relations and handles communications during critical situations, ensuring a positive image of the organization.
  • Monitors and analyzes marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies, including budget and resources, accordingly.
  • Encourages and assists with pursuing external formal recognition/award opportunities for employees, programs, and services.
  • Assists in developing practices to increase education employees’ knowledge of services and community image.
  • Identifies and develops market growth strategies and maintains extensive knowledge of local healthcare developments.
