Description:
NeighborWorks® Boise (NWB is a local affordable housing nonprofit that helps Idahoans obtain, maintain, and retain housing. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing and Community Engagement to lead our Community Building and Engagement Department. Join us in providing innovative housing solutions for underserved communities!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director of Marketing and Community Engagement oversees NWB’s external communications, marketing strategies, and community engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director plays a key role in promoting NWB programs and enhancing community visibility. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Client and Partner Relations: Efficiently assess and support stakeholder needs
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to performance standards and procedures
- Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality and accept feedback constructively
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills across platforms
- Leadership and Event Management: Lead diverse teams and manage large events
- Marketing: Proficient in social media and impact evaluation
- Technical Skills: Advanced in Microsoft Office, WordPress, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva
- Analytical Thinking: Use data to enhance marketing and donor activities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, outreach, leadership, or program development required
- At least three years of experience in communications, marketing, and/or event management, with supervisory experience and a proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets
- Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Starting at $62,400.00 or DOE
