QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive experience in HR business partnering and the design/delivery of HR strategies and solutions, preferably in the social service sector

Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE

The Director, People & Culture will lead Rainbow Centre’s human resources strategy, maximizing employee potential and driving our mission forward. This role requires strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of HR initiatives, leveraging business and financial acumen to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
The Director will champion our values and foster a strong, inclusive culture in partnership with senior leadership. As a member of the senior management team, they will contribute to strategic decision-making, demonstrating a global perspective, anticipating external challenges, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
At this pivotal moment in RC’s growth, the Director/People and Culture must possess a deep understanding of systems integration to align people strategies with our organizational goals effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver strategic insights and foresights to position RC as an employer of choice
  • Champion the adoption of workforce analytics to enable informed decision-making
  • Partner with business leaders to position HR as a key enabler for organizational goals
  • Apply business and financial acumen to inform HR strategy and policies
  • Steer organizational culture and change initiatives to drive high performance
