Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director Sales position is responsible for building and managing all aspects of Outside Sales. Establish sales processes to assure growth and customer retention. Lead the development of new customer relationships. Implement processes that are best in class to grow sales and improve customer experience. Lead the strategic direction of the groups to include short term and long-term planning.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Recruits, hires, and trains outside sales resources to be effective at customer and sales development.
  • Achieves annual sales budget for both direct reports.
  • Assures team has a sufficient pipeline of customer prospects.
  • Leverages technology to aid customer development.
  • Implements effective processes between sales and operations, adapt as required for market conditions.
  • Extensive knowledge of B2B technology and TMS processes.
  • Implements technology to consistently improve sales effectiveness.
  • Works effectively with internal teams to meet overall company objectives.
  • Utilizes industry network to assure department is adapting to market environment and aware of industry direction.
  • Complies with all Company rules, policies, and procedures. Works and behaves safely by following all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.
