Description:

JOB CONTEXT

Servest Catering, a division of the Servest Group has an exciting opportunity for a District Manager to join the catering team to act as the key link between the head office and assigned district’s branches.
The incumbent will help branches to stay up to date with company policies and ensure focus on increasing sales and building productive customer relationship.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • 5 - 10 years experience in Hospitality Based Management, Catering or Similar
  • Food Services Management Diploma or equivalent
  • Business Management Qualification will be an advantage
  • Advanced Computer Literacy
  • Working knowledge of operational standards and management of company processes and systems
  • Experience on Budgeting, forecasting and interpretation of financial documents and compiling of reports
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and good problem solving skills
  • Experience in handling IR related matters
  • Valid drivers licence and own transport

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between head office and the branches by making regular visits and interacting with management.
  • Be in charge of operational practices and making sure that each branch runs smoothly and meets projected revenues and sales estimates.
  • Make recommendations to senior management in order to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Ensure that each branch delivers value and excellence to the clients.
  • Cultivate and grow a strong team of committed unit managers that will maintain profit margins and implement business plan.
  • Ensure that all projects are executed profitably and in compliance to standardised business practices.
  • Apply innovative approaches and techniques to keep updated with competition.
  • Ensure service standards are maintained as per SLA.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives.
  • Development and training of new and existing staff.
  • Submitting monthly reports on time.
