This position is currently posted internally to CUPE employees for 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. September 27th, 2024 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement.
We are currently looking for a dependable individual with a strong work ethic to provide support in the classroom. Occasional work with special needs students may be required. You must exhibit a strong interest in working with children, be friendly in nature and be sensitive towards children’s needs. An active interest in the agricultural program would be an asset.
This is a part time probationary (0.6 FTE) position in Altario School to commence as soon as possible. You will be required to work 18 hours per week. You must be able to exhibit the associated skills to communicate with students and teachers in a meaningful and professional manner. You will be expected to present yourself as an organized and professional representative of the staff, both in person, on the telephone and through correspondence. Previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment would be an asset.
