About the role
As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for the detailed design and commissioning of 1–4 projects related to industrial electrical systems. This role is critical in the implementation of industrial electrical plans for our innovative heating solutions.
Remote work is allowed but you need to visit the Espoo office once a month. The work also includes traveling to project sites in other Nordic countries.

Work tasks

  • Lead the detailed design phase and commissioning of industrial electrical systems for new heating projects.
  • Ensure compliance with high and low voltage standards and implement good installation practices.
  • Design and review cable layouts, busbars, and grounding systems.
  • Conduct short-circuit calculations and ensure the sizing of systems meets critical process requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful implementation of electrical plans.
  • Contribute to development activities within the division.

We are looking for

  • Previous experience in designing electrical systems for energy plants or industrial facilities.
  • Proficiency with high and low voltage systems (TN-S and IT) and associated equipment (GIS/AIS, Transformers, VFC, etc.).
  • Strong familiarity with Autodesk electrical and other calculation software.
  • Experience in commissioning multiple facilities, particularly in electric boilers and heat pumps, is highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive work ethic.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Finnish and Swedish is considered an advantage.
