ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a permanent position on a 7:7 roster, FIFO from Townsville/Brisbane/Cairns or DIDO from Mount Isa to Cannington. The role is mainly day shift but night shift will be required during peak work times.
As the Electrician, you will be working alongside other areas within the projects team and wider operation to complete works through all areas of the Process Plant, Underground Mine, Village and Peripheral Areas of the site. The work is varied is size and complexity requiring a broad skillset around electrical installations mostly around mining and heavy industry plan and equipment.
You will be supported by the Electrical Supervisor, Project Lead and Engineering team to complete all works and testing.
Work is generally conducted on an ongoing rotational roster but at times we may require you with notice to vary your roster to work through Shutdowns or key opportunities presented by the operational areas.

OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT AREN’T LIMITED TO:

• Supervision of workgroups at times.
• Planning of works for future rosters.
• Collating commissioning test plans and reports.
• Adhere to defined standard procedures and apply safe work practices.
