PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Certification in IDBS ELN system administration or architecture.
- Experience with cloud-based deployments and scalability considerations for IDBS ELN.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) for automation and data manipulation tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (X years) working with IDBS ELN system architecture and implementation in a scientific or pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, data management practices, and scientific data structures.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing IDBS ELN functionalities such as experiment templates, data capture forms, and reporting tools.
- Experience integrating IDBS ELN with other laboratory systems (LIMS, SDMS, etc.) and instruments.
- Solid grasp of compliance standards (FDA, GxP) and data security protocols relevant to electronic lab notebooks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, or a related field
Responsibilities:
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System Architecture Design:
- Design the overall architecture of the IDBS ELN system based on stakeholder requirements.
- Create technical specifications and architectural documentation.
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead the implementation of the IDBS ELN system, ensuring alignment with best practices and functional requirements.
- Configure workflows, templates, and data structures within the IDBS ELN platform.
- Integrate IDBS ELN with other laboratory systems and instruments as needed.
- Customization and Optimization:
- Customize the IDBS ELN platform to accommodate specific scientific workflows and data types.
- Optimize system performance and scalability to support increasing data volumes and user requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the IDBS ELN system.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless deployment and operation of the IDBS ELN system.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IDBS ELN functionalities and best practices.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure the IDBS ELN system complies with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GxP) and data security standards.
- Implement and maintain data integrity and access controls within the IDBS ELN platform.
