JOB SUMMARY
Working as the Engineering Supervisor, you will work closely with the Assistant Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering to oversee the efficient operation of the engineering department, and the hotel as a whole. This is to include, but not limited to planned and reactive maintenance to the fabric and all associated areas and services with the hotel to ensure that all guests are well looked after and assisted during their stay. Your tasks as an Engineering Supervisor will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in leading the engineering team and ensure the optimum running of the department, along with the development of their skills and knowledge
- Proactively and reactively maintain all areas of the hotel and areas within our demise in a courteous manor, ensuring Pan Pacific standards of service are adhered to at all times
- Ensure that every job/task have been completed to the highest standards, and should any job/task not be completed then every effort should have been made to do so
- Ability to take on more tasks in addition to the ones previously stated, and within a reasonable timeframe
- Ensure all team have been correctly trained on all aspects of their daily duties and tasks, and offer support as and where required
- Regularly monitor and update departmental SOP’s, to include all training as and where required, alongside keeping the track of training records
- Maintain effective communication within the department, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Liaise with other departments, ensuing good communications and to offer support should it be required
