JOB SUMMARY

Together, we help our customers connect and improve business functions in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain Management, Talent Management, and business intelligence.
The Senior Consultant, Supply Chain Management, provides strategic advice to companies to solve problems, create value, improve growth, and maximize business efficiency and profitability through the configuration and use of technology tools. They act as a partner with the customer’s project team to leverage solutions providing guidance and knowledge to the team. Your role as a Senior Consultant, Supply Chain Management, will be to collaborate with clients, advising them how to use information technology to meet their business objectives. You will work to improve the structure and efficiency of technology solutions in various organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise on ERP Supply Chain Functional Projects individually or as part of a team, during implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects
  • Work collaboratively to capture design and document requirements, test functional and/or technical configurations and development in support of project objectives; build consensus around business processes and design
  • Provide guidance and insight in the analysis of customer business requirements, mentoring less experienced consultants
  • Lead and/or participate in design workshops and presentations to facilitate improvement within implementation timeline
  • Lead and/or participate in knowledge transfer workshops, assisting in documenting updated processes and procedures
  • Participate and assist in facilitating system testing, integration testing, and resolve errors
  • Conduct interviews with necessary groups to gather, analyze and document information and business requirements
  • Configuration of ERP Application; provide consistent and ongoing interaction with client subject matter experts
  • Learn and identify industry trends and correlate them to existing service offerings
  • Understand and adhere to established project management policies and procedures utilizing established project standards
  • Identify potential risks, issues and concerns or conflicts in a timely manner and present to project leadership
  • Identify items that may exceed defined project scope and present to project leadership
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ownership of work products and work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Serves as a mentor to junior staff; contributes to ROI Thought Leadership

Basic ROI Performance Criteria

  • Ensure all project documentation is updated utilizing defined ROI templates and stored in the appropriate location within 2 business days of creation to support a seamless project audit
  • Provide weekly status report to the Project Manager for each billable client by 3:00 PM EST on Friday of each week
  • Adhere to time requirements by submitting weekly time records by 5:00 PM EST Saturday for the week work was performed
  • Utilize remote work collaboration tools (Teams, etc.) for communication with other team members and clients, being logged in and available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in your respective time zone, or the time zone of your assigned client
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ownership of work products and work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Maintains regular, consistent attendance and open communication with Project Managers, Directors, and team members
  • Completes all annual education/competency requirements; demonstrates ROI core values, adheres to policies and procedures
  • Target being 85 percent billable; available to travel 5-10 percent of the time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years ERP-based consulting or equivalent work experience desired and relevant ERP product certification(s)
  • Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project, and ERP Solutions (Infor, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Proficient in multiple areas of Supply Chain Management operations including Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Mobile Solutions, Master Data Management, Contract Management, Sourcing, Value Analysis, and Recall Management
  • Proven experience in the functional design, implementation, and support of ERP Supply Chain Applications
  • Initiative to gain knowledge of current solutions and/or technologies to maintain and advance your expertise
  • Willingness to participate in presentations and learning opportunities with both functional and technical teams
  • Ability to work to ensure customer satisfaction through quality and consistent execution of the ROI methodology
  • Valid Certification from ERP Vendor Partner or willingness to obtain certification

  • Reports to the Director, ERP Finance and Supply Management
