BAER IS LOOKING FOR AN ETL DATASTAGE TECHNICAL CONSULTANT FOR A 4+ MONTH REMOTE PROJECT.

Title: ETL DataStage Technical Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 4 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

DESCRIPTION:

• Facilitate the migration of master and transactional data into and out of SAP during major implementations and divestitures.
• Manage data migrations for smaller internal business projects.
• Collaborate with Master Data, Global IT, legacy IT teams, and business process teams to map legacy data into the Newell Brands SAP system or other target systems.
• Review mappings and functional specifications to ensure thorough documentation of data flows and transformations.
• Develop, maintain, and execute programs, processes, and workflows to ensure data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded into target systems.
• Develop SQL queries and perform ad-hoc queries to identify potential data gaps.
• Collaborate with Master Data, legacy IT, and global IT teams to resolve data gaps.
• Work with the Master Data team to design, develop, and implement data quality reports.
• Ensure that SAP master data conforms to corporate global data governance standards and division-specific standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years of experience in ETL data quality improvement initiatives.
• 3 years of data or business analyst-related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with ETL and Data Quality tools, such as IBM InfoSphere DataStage and IBM InfoSphere QualityStage.
• Experience in installing DataStage and support packs in a Windows environment.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• SAP implementation and production support experience with a focus on data management.
• SAP Functional experience (ECC or BI).
• Experience with multiple databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Experience with structured design, development, and implementation practices.
• Desirable experience with software unit testing, scripting tools, and data archiving.
• Comprehensive understanding of target data types, including master data (e.g., customer records, vendor records, product specifications) and transactional data (e.g., customer orders).
