Description:

The Event Manager is responsible for client communications and facilitates all rentals and live events for this organization. In the position, you will meet with clients to discuss their needs, cultivate business relationships with vendors and caterers, and oversee the set-up, execution, and cleanup of all rental and live events. The Event Manager is also responsible for the day-to-day operations and will work closely with the Talent and Sales Coordinator in the handoff and post-contract for all rentals, live events and programming. They will also coordinate with Lead Projectionists, Food & Beverage Director, and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • The primary role of the Event Manager is to ensure success for all events
  • To be the primary point of contact for all parties renting the theater and as the representative of sponsored programming.
  • This position is the key communication point between the venue and all outside parties who have booked the space.
  • Managing and communicating customer needs/requests within the organization.
  • Facilitating, attending, and closing daily rentals and live events to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Coordinating food and beverage services with the theater team and/or catering services.
  • Coordinating with the Marketing Team on collateral, social media, and other requests
  • Listening attentively to customer requests and keeping accurate records of these requests - i.e. contracts, agreements, event forms, and invoicing.
  • Reviewing bills and pursuing payments for events immediately following events.
