Job Summary
Integrated Channels a division within Everyday Banking Alternative Channels is looking for Strategic and Technical Salesforce Head of Technology.
Are you an expert in Salesforce solutions, passionate about driving digital transformation, and ready to lead a team of talented professionals? We are seeking a Salesforce Head of Technology to oversee and shape our Salesforce initiatives, ensuring innovation, efficiency, and seamless integration across our systems.
About the Role
As the Salesforce Head of Technology, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to align with business goals and enhance user experience. You’ll lead a team of developers, consultants, and administrators to deliver cutting-edge solutions that maximize the value of our Salesforce ecosystem.
Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Salesforce roadmap in collaboration with senior management, aligning it with Absa objectives and digital strategies.
  • Solution Architecture: Design scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that meet complex business requirements, integrating with third-party applications and other enterprise platforms.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee all aspects of Salesforce development, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security in line with best practices.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Digital, Product Solutions, Customer Value Management, and Integrated Channel Sales and Service, to gather requirements, provide insights, and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion the adoption of new Salesforce features, tools, and trends, keeping our organization at the forefront of CRM technology.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and administration.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce platform customization, integration, and data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with DevOps practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience, particularly in the Finance sector
  • Practical experience on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud as well as Experience Cloud.
