Description:
We are offering an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team in FLORHAM PARK, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of accounting and overseeing an accounting clerk in a hybrid work setting. This role will require a professional who can comfortably multitask in a small company setting and has knowledge of accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
- Handle bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage month-end close procedures and ensure timely completion.
- Supervise an accounting clerk, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, for various accounting tasks.
- Execute various accounting functions, including accounts payable and annual budget preparation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Participate in budget processes and contribute to financial planning initiatives.
- Use CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning systems for effective management of customer relationships and resources.
- Resolve customer inquiries relating to their accounts and the company’s financial procedures.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is necessary
- Prior experience with Concur is beneficial
- Familiarity with CRM systems is required
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning is beneficial
- Understanding of Accounting Functions is essential
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
- Experience in preparing Annual Budget is required
- Knowledge of Auditing processes is beneficial
- Familiarity with Budget Processes is required
