As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to join our team temporarily to cover for a parental leave. This role will play a key part in ensuring our billing and invoicing processes continue running smoothly during this period. The position will be based in Finland (our office is located in Tampere), but you can work mostly remotely. We are looking for a reliable person with good team working skills. In this role you need to be analytical and have true interest in numbers. You will work closely with our accounting partner, managers and other colleagues in Finland as well as the team in Vietnam.
As a Finance Specialist you will primarily be responsible for handling customer invoicing and ensuring timely communication with customers, partners and sales staff and create accurate and high-quality information for management to drive the business.

YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE:

• Preparing and emailing invoices to customers, with supporting documentation
• Tracking, reviewing, verifying, and issuing invoices.
• Investigating slow approvals
• Assisting with past due or denied invoices.
• Reporting support for internal reporting and cost tracking
• Managing outgoing payments
• Other finance related admin tasks
• Supporting managers using Netvisor
• You’ll be answering questions regarding invoicing and resolving special cases as they arise
• You will provide reports as required
• You will be assisting with various other financial administration tasks

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NEEDED IN THIS ROLE:

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail: An outstanding Finance Specialist will be someone with a keen eye for detail and has excellent organizational and time management skills. You need to be able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under time constraints.
Positive Attitude: A positive mindset and eagerness to learn new things and an open mind are highly valued.
Good Interactional Skills: Teamspirit but ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for interacting with colleagues at Finest Future and our customers. .The team is international and it requires being able to handle things with different people flexibly both linguistically and culturally.
Self-Initiative: We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their tasks, demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, and work independently when needed.
Bilingual Proficiency: The successful candidate must be fluent in both Finnish and English, as you will be required to work in both languages.
Finance Background: Preference will be given to candidates with suitable education in finance or accounting or ongoing studies in finance or a related field. To ensure success, you should have knowledge on Finnish financial administration, basic knowledge of accounting principles, at least 2 years of experience in similar positions and extensive experience in processing invoices. Knowledge on online accounting and financial management tools like Netvisor will be an advantage.
