Description:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. ACCA or CMA certification preferred. AAT Level 4 Diploma accepted if any of the above qualifications are in a final stage.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience in stock management is essential.

SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1) and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in supporting the Head of Finance and ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Finance: Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries. Perform these tasks personally when team members are on holiday or absent.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate accounting of inventory and timely reporting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analysing variances and providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance team and company objectives.
