Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING!
As the Finance Supervisor, you will be assisting in leading the Finance Team and will lead all financial, accounting and controlling initiatives including overseeing daily account operations, preparation and analysis of financial statements, compliance, and more!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Supervise and lead the finance team, focusing on performance and development
- Oversee daily operations including accounts payable, receivable, and preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Coordinate external audit reviews and implementation of recommendations
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis on variance, trends, and commentary
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Administer compliance and reporting for US and Canadian governments
- Guide, mentor, coach, and empower your team, fostering their professional development and growth through goals and expectations
- Manage ERP system upgrades, optimization and management
- Provide strategic insights, recommendations and implementations on operational and financial matters
